An update for my family

Hello!

Here is a quick synopsis of what is new with some photos.

First, most of you know I bought a motorcycle (I prefer motorbike as it sounds more feminine). It is a Suzuki Boulevard 650cc and white. Here I am on it in Nederland the neighboring hippie mountain town on a ride my girlfriend I took about a month back.

Michel tore his ACL at the end of last ski season and is revoering amzingly well from surgery. He has been doing a lot of biking to rehab his knee. On the days I don't have to work I join him on rides. I love that our tax dollars go to such wonderful bike paths! Here is Michel in front of Boulder Creek and me on the "prarie dog" path in front of the flat irons.
Erin and I went to NYC for a lot of eating and shopping and here we are eating (surprise, surprise) our Pirate's Booty while relaxing in Wasington Square Park. Oh and I'll include this one of Erin flexing her muscle, too . . . yowzaaaa!!!

Two weekend ago Michel and I took a day trip up into the mountains near the ski areas. Here is a photos of just how beautiful Colorado is.
Okay, that's all for now.

Check in often and I'll try to do a good job of posting what is new.

MS3

There are 6000 + people participating in the mystery stole #3. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mysterystole3/?yguid=149466218
I signed up after the secon clue was posted, but managed to get two clues done in a week, so when clue #3 came out yesterday I was all caught up. Here is a picture of my progress so far . . . .

I am using Zephyr Ebony yarn on a 3.25 Addi Lace Turbo Circ Needle and white glass beads (which aren't noticable in the photo).
Oh, I am learning quite a bit with this project as I have never truly knit lace before. I am also a new fan of the lifeline - you can see them in the photo - white glide dental floss. These lifelines have saved me twice already!

Day One

This is just my initial test. After seeing the way everyone posts their knitting projects and life happenings I just had to have my own blog. Tomorrow I'll post pictures of my latest knitting project and what is new in my life . . . until then . . . .
